Elle

I had the great pleasure of going to New Orleans this summer to shoot our friends Kelly and Eliabeth's 11 month old daughter Elle Gibson. She was the most gorgeous thing I saw all summer. Happy as she could be. We enjoyed a day of food, laughter one scarey guy, and of course Cafe du Monde beignets. (Is that how you spell it?)

Daddy and Momma are probably evacuating at this very moment because hurricane Gustav has crashed into the Gulf Coast. Our prayers are with everyone near there. Especially Rita and Dan in Gonzales. They have decided to weather the storm. No storm here, not even a raindrop.
The Website is still under construction for another week or so, while I manage through a new computer and try and find files on external hard drives that are worthy of a website. Bear with me...

Website in Progress....

Keep your eyes open for the revealing of the Patrizi Photography Website and new look!

Do I live here?

Waking up from my 12 hour coma, I realized I had forgotten where my underwear drawer was!!!
Is this a case of early Alzheimer's or have I just been gone too long? 2-1/2 months away from home is way too long. I believe it will take that long to get it back to safe home environment mode. For once, I have been asking Chris where everything is... Now he knows how it feels. I now have a new computer and a host of fresh ideas for my photography business. Getting out of the airport last night was like stepping back into a hot steamy sauna when you were not intending to. It is still sandy and hot in Doha, it took over an hour to get home in the traffic. I have started my new library of reading material for the car. Bella hasn't left my side, and I woke up this morning and Ashlynn was in bed with me. The only child. It is her turn. Ahhhhh so sweet. I am glad to be back to my life. Even if it is in Doha Qatar. I plan to make the best of the next few years, and know I am where God has planned for me to be. No pictures today. Just a welcome home note.

Wherever you go on this Earth you can find them...
even in seaweed...

Some are completely untouched by human hands...

Others are skillfully made with love and care...

A little of this and that...

Back to our roots...

Amazing summer in Texas... The highlights are of course our time spent with close family and friends. Cooking Chefs in Galveston and my sweet Momma in Conroe brings you back to your roots. Makes you recall times that were slower paced, not so complicated. Being with family no matter how big (Patrizi's) or small (mine) brings new sparkles to your soul and especially for us since we only have a splash of time each year. We know living in Doha Qatar will not bring us many visitors unlike the European places we have lived where just the opposite happened. We had 137 guests in 4 years in Switzerland and over 50 the one year we lived in Italy. I miss that! But we all know we are exactly where we should be, we must make the best of it. Our time in Texas is short, real short so I must go eat another taco! - Ciao Y'all!
